Aatmanirbhar means ‘self- relevant’. The aim is to make the country and its citizens Independent
and self- relevant in all senses. It further outlined five pillars of Aatmanirbhar bharat -economy,
infrastructure ,system, vibrant demography and demand. India is emerging as a strong ,self-
sufficient and self-releant nation with enormous opportunities. The Aatmanirbhar bharat Abhiyan
is the mission started by the government of India on 13th May 2020 towards making India self-
reliant. The Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan package focuses on land ,labour, liquidity and laws,
which will cater to various sections including cottage industry ,MEMEs,labours,middle class and
industries among others. According to Government ,self- reliance does not advocate a self-
centered protectionist system. The government has said self-releant India does not mean cutting
off from rest of the world. However ,some have called Aatmanirbhar bharat as ave-packaged
version of the make in India drive using new techniques such as focal for local. Some oppositions
member have spoken about how India had enacted policies and built companies since its
creation to make India self-releant for steel production, IITs for domestic,
engineers ,AIIMS for medical science, PRDO for defense research, HAL for
aviation, ISRO for space ,CCL ,NTPC and GAIL in the area of energy, for
example these politicians have criticized the so-called did advertising tactics
in the repackaged scheme. Some have also panned the scheme ve-phrased
as ‘fend for yourself ‘ campaign.

Atmanirbhar Bharat

Atmanirbhar Bharat scheme was launched on 12 May , 2020 , by the Prime
Minister Narendra Modi .The scheme will run under the Ministry of ,
Finance , Ministry of Defense , Ministry of Health ,and Ministry of
Electronics & IT . The main motive of this scheme was to make India self –
reliant ' so that we can minimize The import of at least small things .It was

launched to increase to step into self – development through their
talent and knowledge . PM Modi defines Atmanirbhar Bharat as “ The state of
the world today teaches us that ( Atmanirbhar Bharat) “ Self – reliant India “ is
the only path . The slogan of Atmanirbhar Bharat ' Vocal for Local’ which
means raise your voice for Local products because a famous brand was also
local someday . The main reason behind this scheme was Covid – 19 in which
