Festivals of India bring out the real colours of our nation's unity in
diversity. India is a country with a different culture, ethnicities as well as rich
heritage. From Holi to Eid, each day is celebrated with pomp and show. It is
observed that people from all culture come together and celebrate the
festivals creating reach communal harmony. Festivals like Eid and Christmas are
celebrated among the Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and others with a
sense of brotherhood signifying communal harmony in our country. Indian
festivals offer us much excitement and are celebrated with great
Sonam Yadav enthusiasm. Some of the main Indian festivals are Rakhsa
Senior Coordinator Bandhan, Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Janmashtami, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali,
Suraj School, Rewari
Pongal, Holi etc.The festival like Dussehra and dramatic enactment of the
virtues versus vices filled story is organised by communities and villages and cities attracting audiences
from different social background as well as enrich them with rich Indian heritage.
Indian people also hold great regard for the national festivals like Gandhi Jayanti,Independence
Day, Republic Day, Martyr's Day etc. which are symbol of unity, patriotism and progress. We all stand
united as Indians while singing our national anthem irrespective of our religions as well as regions.
We are great all over the world due to virtue of unity in diversity.
'AN AMALGAMATION OF UNITY IN DIVERSITY’
An amalgamation of Unity in Diversity means remaining united even after
living separately. When the people of different religion, race culture ,different
ethnicities are welcome equally with proper respect. This is called Unity in
Diversity. India is the best country proving this concept for many years.
Indian culture is an amalgamation of different tradition and customs and how
different communities present and organized themselves in term of morality
and etiquette. This unity among all the people in this country shows our
strength and our richness in culture. Each and everybody is individually
respected and given importance.
Despite having different festival in belonging to different regions, we celebrate
it together. With so many religions in the picture, everyday marks some
celebration or others. There are festivals like Diwali, Holi, Durga Pooja, Lohri,
Eid-al-Fitr and many more. We celebrate these festivals together.
Although we may speak different language we are different clothes and follow
different religion we belong to one country and stand united as Indians. We
Indians are like a giant tree which has many branches and leaves but has one
trunk that connects us to our roots. The presence of such vast number of cultures, languages and
religions prove the phrase'an amalgamation of Unity in Diversity'.
'Unity in diversity':
This is God's supreme secret in His cosmic game.
